UPDATE: To address your signing concern on NB Alt. US 19:

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. I have looked into the matter and our maintenance office has already scheduled a replacement for February of 2015. These two signs, that were installed in 2007, had defective sheeting (from the manufacturer) which caused them to age prematurely. These signs normally last a long time before needing replacement, as shown by the “Tampa” sign which was installed in 1994 and still looks great. Pinellas County Communications assigned this issue to FDOT District 7

The issue you reported to SeeClickFix has been resolved by Pinellas County & Florida Department of Transportation “Doing Things for YOU !”

I just wanted to make sure you realize the signs have not been fixed. I made the initial report almost 9 months ago. No doubt FDOT is busy, but I was afraid with FDOT closing the issue, it meant they had washed their hands of the complaint about the signage and weren't going to replace them. They said Feb of 2015, yet the signs are still barely readable and it is substandard. It looks bad for the area. Obviously, I know where I am going, but if I were a tourist or not familiar with the area, those signs wouldn't help me one bit, and certainly wouldn't give me enough time to make a lane change if necessary.
