The company doing the work is actually owned by Southern CT Gas/UIL Holdings but has incorporated in Kentucky to avoid following CT rules and paying local taxes. I think our tax assessor should take note of the vehicles they are driving with Kentucky plates and tax them. They should also be taxed on any other equipment they are using for this work.
