I remember this problem. I have been told that he ornamental electrical lighting poles are city owned and managed, whereas the large arch style lights are CL&P/Northeast or whatever they call themselves this year. I believe that this is a city owned and operated fixture. This is a safety issue and an orange cone is not the answer. Imagine shoveling in the area this winter. I am going to send this issue to someone at DPW that can find out who can fix it. BUT I don't want you to think that I don't think SeeClickFix is the right venue for problems. I just don't think that the person responsible for 'fixing it' did a good job.
