The City has requested a flashing pedestrian signal beacon be installed at this location as part of an upcoming state construction project along the Long Wharf Dr corridor.

Is there a timeline for this? Is it a request or is it actually going to happen? Is it possible to get Pedestrian crossing sign to go in the street in the meantime? All the existing signs are virtually ignored and drivers do not pay any attention when you are standing in the crosswalk. A sign in the middle of the street may open some eyes! Thank you.

There still is not a sign in the roadway to alert drivers of the crosswalk. The signs installed on the side of the road are ignored, and partially blocked by trees. There was another accident out here two weeks ago. What do we have to do to get a sign? This was recatoegorized back in JANUARY! Yet, there are no new signs.

It is still open because we are still waiting for something to be done. How difficult would it be to get a sign that you put in the middle of the street? I understand that they get taken down in the winter because of plows, but it is now July and there still isn't a Pedestrian Crossing sign in the street.

We are still waiting for more signage and everyday there are close calls as pedestrians cross the street! There was another accident here a couple of weeks back while a coworker was crossing the street. If we can't get a flashing light how about a road sign that flashes? It would be nice if this could get acknowledged.

Hello again. There is still no progress on this. It has now been a year since this was recategorized and there has yet to be any sort of response. How hard can it be to get a sign for the roadway or one that would go on the side of the road that drivers can actually see? All the signs that are in place now are INEFFECTIVE!!
