I have heard nothing from City Plan about the proposed solution to this problem.

Spring is sprouting everywhere in Wooster Square except on the property of PMC Property Group, which has smothered it in concrete, presumably for ease of maintenance.

Why won't City Plan respond? It is usually such a responsive and capable department. No spring at the Smoothy building. Where is that impervious surface tax? Many neighbors work hard as volunteers maintain the green areas of Wooster Square and we deserve to have the landlords to do SOMETHING to make our area more livable. Think what Wooster Square would be like if all the Court Street residents acted like the landlord of the Smoothy building!?!

Remove the cars and it would look like an abandoned building -- litter, trash, and unkempt atmosphere of the whole block says neglect and uninterest.

The removal of six cars should be replaced by a vegetative stripe.

City of New Haven, please respond to this issue. With even more apartments on the way in the neighborhood -- a seeming unrelenting march of new apartment planning and building -- the responsibility of landlords to participate in the upkeep of the neighborhood and to behave as good (albeit absent) neighbors is most important to those of us who actually live, work -- AND vote here.

Still no information on this problem.

I heard a rumor that there is a settlement!

I haven't heard that rumor but, I will check.

So, I spoke with ED and found out that the City has not settled with the property owners. The City is working with their attorneys regarding the issues with their site plan.
