Parking really needs to be not allowed on this narrow segment of Connecticut Avenue, NW. Every single day cars park here after rush hour and it is only a two lane road to begin with here. When they park it becomes a one lane road and people dangerously merge to avoid hitting the cars. The cars come as a surprise because nobody in their right mind would expect a major road like Connecticut Avenue to become one lane so abruptly. Please take a look at this segment on both sides and place No Parking At Anytime signs. Bikers nearly get killed everyday and I have personally witnessed several accidents due to cars switching lanes due to the parked cars blocking traffic.
