This is ludicrous! Is there not a law that says that this company should be fined for tampering with street signs? Those signs are, in fact, property of the city. I don't know about fining them for stapling signs to a tree, but I personally think that should also be a law! If they are trees (they're along the sidewalk, so I think they are), then the city could probably also find some way of punishing the company for plastering signs to the trees!

This company should remove the signs Or residents should remove them and discard them. The
city should issue a summons for advertising without a permit and fine them $2000.

I removed all of the signs myself but I am going to bring them back into Wireless Wizard. I will ask if they want to donate to URI to make up for the damage they've done.

I took me an hour to remove all of these

Just spoke with the owner and she said she would donate to URI. She was angry at me for not talking to her first which is fair. I do think its important to document these problems though so there is a record. I have talked with them once previously about stickers that went up on public structures and town green has also talked to them a number of times. I think that the folks at Wireless Wizard are nice people but they need to refrain from the flyering campaigns as they are not able to control the employees that they manage.

Ben, she can be angry all she wants, that doesnt exclude our rights to post our disdain. So no, I don't find this "fair". As someone in business myself, common sense is that you would contact the city and ask about the rules or look them up. Its kind of a no brainer. They were obviously too lazy to do so, didn't want to know the truth to remain "clueless" on purpose or didn't care about the laws. Basically, oh poor her...not!
