This issue was never addressed none of the city officials even know this place exsist only when they need our votes they allocate all the resources to Downtown or East Rock. New Haven seems to stop at the Grand and Front Bridge anything over the bridge is no mans land where not even included in citywide events. They put bike racks in every part of the city but over here where not Grand ave they do stuff on Grand Ave like it counts for us no its not Eastern st or Foxon blvd or Middletown ave its Grand Ave put cross walks, flashing lights, speed bump, trash cans, trim trees, blue lights, cameras, and other amenities like you do Dowtown and Wooster square (I guess cause Rosa DeLauro is from there they get carte blanche) dont say theres no money because St.Patricks day you seem to have money to paint the street that money can be used for trash cans or pedestrian safety signals for Foxon blvd or Quinnipiac the city seems to fund art projects throughout Downtown that can be speed bumps for Quinnipiac and Russell or new playground equipment for Palmeri, Fairmont, and Middletown Ave parks the Mayor got a personal body gaurd that salary can fund a few trash cans or speed bumps throughout the Quinnipiac Hieghts community the money is there but Quinnipiac Hieghts dont see it our nieghborhood is the dumping ground and housing is trashed on this side of town. All the projects that the city got coming up improves every community but this one The Hieghts the people over here are tired they cant get nothing done for 4 years this trash can post been up here and it wasnt even addressed but if Downtown or East Rock needed a mural or something they got it with the quickness we have serious issues on Eastern, Quinnipiac, Middletown, Russell St and all these streets in between we have management team meetings people plead their cases to these smug officials and the next thing we know Downtowns getting something new or City Halls paying some outside contractor to do a BS study for some other part of the city quit jerking our nieghborhood around trim our trees add safety devices speed bumps crosswalks etc or when its election time dont even come to our side of town with you plastic smile and phoney promises I seen things get done fast in this city but not around here people are tired.
