Unbelievable Cindy. Thank you for reporting this. I cannot believe how inconsiderate and entitled some people are.

It has been assigned to the Inspectional/Building Service Dept. We haven't heard yet if it has been addressed with the owner. I am fairly certain the owner does not have a legal right to dump road fill on his property as his site plan does not allow for dumping and parking all his vehicles there. We will see how the town deals with this problem.

This issue is currently in court.

I want to know 'exactly' who is doing this...If he can't afford to move this 'cu cu', perhaps if he needs help I can call a few of my friends from Army Engineers and we can get it cleaned up in day or so and we can 'move this 'crap' next to his front door !...Always glad to aid my community... I'm still getting over the $ 1.00 a year 'gift' a few people got, and most likely with no Insurance indemnifying our own land.. and then 'NO' Dollars a year... 7 leases.. and I personally doubt if 'every one of the leases was 'signed' by the Town Administrator back then..! I do not believe we need 'court'.. We need the Bulldozers.. if he's on our property.. We've coddled some of these 'people. a bit too long from my views.. Period ...Enough.;...

Hopefully, this issue will be adjudicated in court in favor of the town, meaning the owner/party responsible for dumping will be forced by the court to remove the mound of dirt which is filled with road debris. On another note, having walked the Weiss Farm property last Saturday, I do not understand why the town has not taken steps to solve the problem WR is creating with the flooding and mile high piles of mulch and dirt, not to mention the illegal dumping of old farm equipment on the property. If ever there were an environmental hazard, this is it. The neighborhood on Franklin, Ellen, Gerald, Sunset, Walsh, etc. have had to deal with these horrible environmental issues for about 15 years or more. Residents of this town need to petition town officials who have the authority to do something about it.

Saw trucks going in and out the other day and noticed from the highway the pile looks smaller. I thought there was something in the paper about a site plan review. Any update on when or what is being discussed? Thanks.
