If it is a utility pole, report it to UI at 1-800-7CALLUI. If it is a street light report it to the City of New Haven.

Pole seems to be fine and the street light came back on later that night. Hopefully whoever got away with smashing into the pole and then fleeing the scene is ok. Although I'm sure they have been feeling it for this past month. Because what I saw in the video was absolutely no break lights before hitting the pole at about 30-40 MPH. Driving drunk or REALLY tired is pretty stupid huh! Whoever you are I hope you enjoy your second chance, not many get one.
