The southbound left-hand turn from Rochester to Auburn is exactly two seconds long (not kidding at all). I've seen several people get hit after they realize that it will take them an hour to make a left turn here (not kidding) and decide to get back onto Rochester Rd. Most people go down to the stop light in front of Lowes but a small percentage simply get hit while trying. Rochester Hills really doesn't care about people who live down Auburn east of Rochester - this is quite certain. Perhaps if there was oil in that area?
