Better off calling the city. This site i have found is just to take calls off the city and the city does nothing from here

Yes, works well. I'm all for taking a little bit of the load off the city. Like so many other agencies they're asked to do more than what's humanly possible. This site assists BWL, City of Lansing and LPD. (though there are at times some frivolous complaints that do waste staff time) Beyond paying taxes for public services each of us can also help out in small ways by using this sight for what it's designed to do.

I also agree that the City does pay attention to this site. I've reported 4 issues and they have all been closed.

Code Compliance sent a letter to the property owners on September 3rd and they have seven days to comply or the City will have a contractor do the work and the property owner will be billed for the work.
