The tree is rotting at the base badly. The tree is blocking light from the street lamp it's growing next to/around, an area where three thefts have taken place in the last two weeks. There are several dead branches, some of which have already broken off but have not yet fallen to the ground, creating a hazard. The tree has grown over the roof of 2000 N Capitol St NW, dropping dead branches and debris on the roof, causing an obstruction to rain water drainage. The tree should be removed or trimmed so that it is off of 2000 N Capitol property and the nearby street lamp.
