Description

Every morning and every afternoon, parents dropping off/picking up students at Mtn Gap come out of the parking lot (I believe they can only make a left hand turn), and then they turn left onto Chaney Thompson and immediately make a U-turn around the concrete islands to head back towards Bailey Cove on Mountain Gap Road. This creates a hazard for drivers in all directions, as traffic sometimes backs up on both roads while these vehicles make this u-turn. I am not sure this is even a legal u-turn? It is frustrating to drivers on Chaney Thompson, as drivers making the u-turn will cut in front of you. I am surprised there has not been a wreck here yet.
