Dear BDG 337,
There is some confusion, then, as to why the western edge of the park, where these vehicles were located, is lined with multiple no parking anytime signs. Attached is an image from June showing a parked vehicle next to one of the no parking signs.
Why are there signs present if the city is not going to enforce the regulation? By not enforcing the parking restrictions the city is undermining its credibility elsewhere. Additionally, it is encouraging people to continue to drive their vehicles into city parks which are meant for recreation.

Dear Sir,
The question does not relate to parking enforcement at this time. The cars were moved, presumably by their owners, last evening. The question that I would like answered is why there are no parking signs along the western edge of the Taft Recreation Center, that cars park right up next to, that parking enforcement indicate are not enforceable. Can this question please be addressed. It is unclear why parking enforcement needs to be referred to MPD when parking enforcement is the responsibility of Parking Enforcement officials.
Thank you.
