How is the address established? Does SCF automatically identify the place where the photo was taken, so none of the addresses would ne correct since photo always taken opposite the subject. ???
GPS of your phone? So the phone identifies the location where you are standing when you take the photo? And unless you are standing in the spot photographed, the address will be reported incorrectly. Does CE routinely correct the address, on the record?
The property manager was notified to speak to the tenant about the potentially dangerous situation.
Other potentially dangerous situations should be reported at the time they are witnessed to the police department at 658-2700. See Click Fix is not monitored 24 hours a day. The police department has a 24 hour a day operation 7 days a week.
The SeeClickFix application does not know where you took the photo.
SeeClickFix uses your location when you click "report". If you take a photo and go home to report the issue, it will identify your home address as the report location. If you take a photo from across the street and report the issue from that same location, it will identify the address you are at, not the intended one across the street.
Users can manually change an incorrect location before sending in a report, or specifically state the address in the issue report narrative. In this case the photo was excellent even if the geographic address was wrong. The photo clearly identified the building where the issue was reported.
