Description
The new Union Station bike racks are great. Unfortunately, only half of the racks are currently opened for use. These reach maximum capacity daily. Please open the remaining sheltered bike racks. I don't understand why they are closed from use given they appear already completed. Many thanks for installing them!

Good to know that they are already reaching capacity. This simply means more racks are needed. I'm glad that the new racks were put in, and in some ways this makes New Haven a leader in the state, but the fact the racks are already filled up once again shows that the city is not doing as much as it should to promote sustainable economic development.
It seems clear that we need to be a bit more progressive about how we approach these kinds of problems.
It would be good to know the expected completion date for the half of racks that aren't open yet. I suspect that this has something to do with one of the parts missing on that side.
