Wire was coiled up & left at base of utility pole. This would indicate it is not a 'live' wire. Cable cos have been called. It appears that city will need to demand that cable cos remove non active wires as they do not respond to residents to do so. Leaving long lines of wire in public spaces is not a good thing.
