Giant, old-growth rotting and dying tree with hollow trunk and rotted limbs about to fail adjacent to the busy Church Street corridor at the Neely Avenue corner The next storm or ice storm will likely take down this tree and fall either across the road and could result in unnecessary loss of life and property, falling on a passing car or pedestrian The tree also could take out power lines It is an obvious life-threatening hazard and must be addressed ASAP The city should condemn and remove the tree and condemn the dilapidated home behind it
