Description

Tree down in West River is blocking flow Trash as amassing on the Whalley side of the blockage This is between Edgewood Avenue and the mid bridge

While a volunteer group removed some of the trash, the tree causing the trash to accumulate because it blocks the flow of water has not been removed. Until the at least a large portion of the tree is removed, trash will continue to accumulate and bunch up in this section of the West River in Edgewood Park.

While one blockage was removed, multiple trees are down next to the mid-bridge. Trash is accumulating. The glow of the river is severely curtailed. The bridge itself is also in need of repair with loose and rotting planks—especially in the side closer to the park road.
