Description

The City of New Haven can make a ton of money just by ticketing owners who let their dogs off-leash in Edgerton Park / Brewster Estate.
I am sick of these entitled owners who think it is perfectly okay to let their precious pooches run amok in the park.
Just this past Sunday, a man had a dog running loose with the leash dangling on the ground. Then, a second dog came running around the corner, also with a leash dragging on the ground. I told the man there were leash laws, and he had the nerve to say "they're on leashes," and I replied "but your hand needs to be on the other end."
These are RICH LOCAL PEOPLE who are treating the park like their own private backyard. They have money for leashes & pooper scoopers (I have never seen any dog owner with a scooper or bag), and I'm sure they have cars to take their dogs to a dog park if they want their dogs to roam.
PLEASE enforce the leash law!!!!!
