Description

The park pathway was dug up to accommodate the new pavement. Once the pavement was laid, there was no attempt to level it off or clean up the debris. In some spots, there is a clear 6" drop from the corner of the pavement to the grass. This is a severely twisted ankle waiting to happen. The debris that is lined along the pathway includes large chunks of concrete, bricks, large rocks and mounds of dirt piled up. This is unsightly and dramatically takes away the beauty of the park, the new walkway and the antique lights. There was also a line of wood chippings spread along the entire width of the park along 2nd st. This was put there when the sidewalk paving was done. It still remains and is unsightly. We were hoping it would be moved when they started mowing. However, they just simply mow around it. In summary, the pathway needs to be leveled off, the debris along the pathway needs to be cleaned, the area along the pathway needs to be seeded for grass and the wood chippings along the width of the park need to be removed.
