I don't see that this issue was resolved yet.

It might be better if the lights for drivers on Skiff were coordinated. As it is, you can't approach Dixwell from the west on Skiff without waiting at two full lights. When the light at Dixwell turns green, a light slightly before it turns red. The same process happens for people heading west. They cross Dixwell, start going up Skiff, and immediately have to stop, so traffic ends up backing out into Dixwell.

This problem seems solvable with some commonsense light coordination.

OK I am back and this time, taking notes as to who does and says what. I do not belive any Hamden resident want photo enforcement. I think with 621 people viewing this page and 10 voting for it my point is made. Oh yes,,, the ten that voted for it where not aware of voting for it!

I agree about the lights needing to be coordinated. Photo enforcement would be a great backup to that effort.

I don't know if a camera is needed but I strongly second the request for more enforcement of some kind. all too often when I drive my son to the middle school, going north on Dixwell, drivers turning left from Dixwell onto Skiff east-bound very often run their red light, not just a little but egregiously.

I belive the general public does not want, does not need and will not support photo enforcement at any light in Hamden. If you thing this issue has merrit, it should be vetted before the town council.
