We must first mail a letter to the owner of the property as shown on the County Assessor’s page and a letter to the occupant, if a single family dwelling and it is a rental. We will inspect one week after the letter is mailed. If Health Code violations are found, photos are taken and mailed with a certified letter to the owner and occupant. It is reinspected in a week and if the Health Code violation is still present an abatement may be done.

As a community member, I have contacted several Star Tran advisory board members along with the Transportation & Utilities Business Manager. If anyone else would like to contact these individuals so that the issue can get addressed like it should have been several weeks ago here are their names, which is public information:

My suggestion will be to google them and see if you can find some contact information to let them know about your concerns. Otherwise the next Star Tran advisory board meeting is scheduled for September 30, 2021 at 8:00 a.m. in the Health Department Large Conference room located at 3131 O St per their meeting minutes.
