There is an ordinance for trees or limbs overhanging the city sidewalks. They must be cut back and can not hand down within 8ft above the sidewalk. It is the responsibility of the adjacent property owner. It is very difficult to walk along the blocks surrounding the square with all of the limbs and bushes hanging into and over the sidewalk.
