This accusation is absolutely untrue. The stoop was recently replaced (i.e. a new stoop within the past couple of weeks) and the railings are at the metal fabricating shop being repaired before they are re-installed. Temporary wood railings were installed (within the past couple of weeks, not over a year ago) in order to make the stoop safe and in compliance with the building code. Obviously, whoever reported this doesn't know what they are talking about and should have looked into the matter a bit before they broadcast the accusation to the entire city population. Broadcasting false accusations through public electronic media may constitute libel. The anonymous reporter should check with their lawyer before they make another false report. They should also be charged for the time spent by city employees who are required to look into false accusasions on See-Click-Fix.

Much like other untrue issues that I've been posted by neighbors the neighbors should come forward and if you're going to complain you should at least identify yourself as to who You are rather than hiding,
It appears that there's just a select few neighbors within Center Square that tend to be anonymous and those same people tend to be the ones causing the trouble by not getting your facts straight again stop hiding be responsible if you have a complaint that's fine at least have the balls to identify yourself

I've noticed a couple other reports that say "for a year" or "over a year". I have to wonder-- this one was reported one day after the Lark St QLC workshop on how to use See-Click-Fix. I would not be shocked to find out that one of our fine neighbors in that meeting was telling people to always say code violations have been outstanding for over a year if you really want action taken against your neighbors.
This one is so ridiculous, I have to agree with the first comment that whoever reported it should be charged with filing a false report. Any reasonable person can see in the picture that those 2x4's are brand new. There is no way they would be that color if they had been there for a year.
