We will pull data from the signs to see the trend in speed. These signs are typically effective in slowing vehicles where the drivers are, otherwise, not aware of the speed they are travelling.

We have relocated the sign to hopefully be more effective. We will monitor vehicle speeds over time.

Please see the comments placed on Elm Street and Northside as well... Speeding continues to rise! Please ask the police to monitor the neightborhood more -OR- please close off Atkinson Street over to Carmichael to slow the speeders down.

We were able to pull data from the radar feedback sign and determined the speeding occurs from 5 am to 8 am. The Police Dept has been given this data and will assist with enforcement. Outside of those hours, the average speed is 30 mph or less, which is considered acceptable. We can't improve on that. Hopefully enforcement will have an impact on those morning hours.
