Kids riding dirt bikes and other vehicles up and down the street. Very dangerous for the kids and for the residents. Not to mention the excessive noise.
They're back, as soon as the weather is nice the illegal street bikes are speeding down our streets. Thompson St and Tyler St are two areas they are in. The people wear scarfs over their faces so you can't identify them. I will be calling the police whenever they're in my area or I see where they're loading these vehicles on or off trailers.
Gerrish Avenue also. I will be making the phone calls as well. For the birt bikes and excessive speeding down Gerrish to Robert. Maybe a speed bump (at the 2 way stop sign at Gerrish & Tyler) would help with that, since putting a police office in the area doesn't seem possible.
They're also awful in the Elm, Sidney and Forbes area. They blast straight through the stop signs on Sidney Street and ill eventually be the cause of a bad accident or fatality.
based on these comments and my personal experience, it seems to be the same group of "riders"... the EHPD needs to follow up on the town ordinances. I'm sure that those of us affected, can predict with fairly good accuracy when these riders will be out- why can't our Police?
