Someone finally came to get dog.

It took since Sunday to get help for a defenseless animal? How sad we are.

The owner (who died) has a friend who has been taking care of the dog everyday until they can find a good home for it.

Unfortunately. He had not been there for over 24 hours. We had many neighbors watching out for him.

Lets hope..we were not being nosey neighbors. .this was a large unalteted pitbull...very friendly but just let out to roam. Animal control was going to come out today. I pray this poor guy went to someone who will take care of him. The caretaker also made it known the dog did not eat since Thurs. The police quick response and presence probably saved its life.
