No, it hasn't changed. It's been the same ugly, trash-filled, muddy, unappealing pit for years and years. It's right at the intersection of two of the busiest roads in the city, with lots of pedestrian traffic, and yet nobody from the city ever acknowledged my complaint and -as far as I know- completely ignored the situation. Can anyone tell me who is responsible for fixing problems like this? The city? The property owner?
II. Last week the City began replacing curbs on Elm Street just a couple of blocks from the location in the picture. Do they plan to continue onto Sherman? Both are busy streets, yes, but Sherman is in far worse shape than Elm, and is a commercial block with lots of pedestrian and automobile traffic.
