I noticed that there has been an aggressive uptick in code compliance reports, seemingly going from one house to another on the same block. This is clearly an attempt to exhaust the already limited income of minorities in the area by using J.C.'s code compliance. The person who is doing this in secret is reprehensible. They are focused on homeowners when there is no shortage of lots, owned by the city, that are in states of neglect. Instead of focusing on those areas, this person seems to target homes owned by minorities. This is one of the many new tactics of gentrification to intimidate/aggravate minorities into selling their homes to investors...and it is being aided and abetted by Jersey City's Code Compliance. The community needs to be more vocal to stop this abuse.
