The City currently does not provide a mold inspection/removal service. You can, however, call the Department of Public Health's Environmental Health Services (EHS) unit for a phone consultation at (215) 685-7344.
Additionally, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has a very informative web site that can be accessed through the following link: www.epa.gov. If you would like a telephone consultation on dealing with mold problems in your home, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) also sponsors such a program. Call 1-800-438-4318 and leave your name and phone number. You should receive a return call the next business day.

Built around 1811, its former owners started a restoration project, never finished it, then left it to fall into foreclosure, according to the Preservation Alliance for Greater Philadelphia. The Old City home has taken on water, mold flourishes inside and neighbors are concerned."
