Description
There is a Pecan tree that is growing in the public verge on the west side of Ashburton Road in Raleigh, across the street from 1207 Ashburton. The tree is about 30-to-40 feet tall and about 25 inches in circumference. It is situated about 5 feet from the city curb and it is leaning at about a 25 to 30 degree angle over the center of Ashburton Road. It seems to be leaning over the street more this year than ever before and it looks like it is a potential hazard to vehicles and pedestrians on Ashburton Road, as well as a hazard to the utility poles and utility lines. Can the City of Raleigh take care of this problem? Thank you.
