It seems like many are unsatisfied that the resurfacing may not occur until November while the safety and drivability issues exist right now. City taxpayers are dissatisfied with this project. They are unhappy about the past and current road condition, construction debris and signs left in yards, and the lack of information available for daily users of the roadway. For SUVs and trucks this may not be as big of an issue, but for vehicles with lower profile tires and lighter weights such as mopeds, motorcycles, and many types of cars the potholes and uneveness present a hazard. SeeClickFix responded days ago in a different thread that they would get an update on the project. Its seems like road conditions in this area of town on wake forest road, glenwood, whitaker mill, st marys, and others are a persistent issue.

Per Public Works: We have added Whitaker Mill Rd. from Glenwood Ave to Reaves Dr. to our 2014 resurfacing contract. It is currently scheduled to be paved in late June. Our schedule is impacted by the weather and will shift accordingly.
