Unless things have dramatically changed, Brooker Creek flooding is due more to the extensive water shed area and the inability to release water from Lake Tarpon, especially during high tide.

I don’t understand this response. I believe the County and tax payers are aware of multiple issues and reasons the creek and neighborhood floods. None of those other issues are relevant to the fact that the creek needs to be dredged. It has been over 10 years since it was last done. If the County had a reason to do it then, the same reasons apply now. There are numerous downed trees, sandbars and other debris that impact drainage of the creek into Lake Tarpon.
