Hi, I emailed a few months ago requesting an updated speed sign when I moved into County Street. I feel there are a few zippy cars speeding up and down the street and I predicted it would happen consistently. I just heard an officer chase one down County street connecting into Cottage Street, then I heard them still chase the person left on the Main Street unfortunately. It's disruptive around the clock. I'm requesting some combination of a flashing speed limit sign and squat patrolling on these streets. Thanks.
  • Bridge St & Phillips St Attleboro, MA, 02703, USA - Attleboro
The stop sign where Bridge street intersects with Read/Phillip Street is not being followed. Many motorists are running these stop signs daily all day long. My son has almost been hit multiple times and many cars have almost hit me in my car while I am coming out of my driveway. Please investigate this. They are also not following the speed limit. This area is being used as a cut through with complete disregard that it is a neighborhood where children and elderly walk. Thank you
  • Laurier Ave & Robinson Ave Attleboro, MA, 02703, USA - Attleboro
Wondering if this less-than-useful sign at Laurier and Robinson Ave could be replaced with something better: Children Crossing; Stop Ahead; Slow, etc.
  • Heather St Attleboro MA 02703, United States - Attleboro
Intersection of Como Drive and Heather St is extremely dangerous and no one observes the stop sign when they especially are using it as a cut through in the year we have resided here we have been in several near severe car accidents due to negligent drivers not adhering to the stop signmthis week alone, there have been three occasions where I was almost T-boned adue to drivers speeding and not stopping at the sign we are hoping to make this concern noted by potentially the local police department, hoping they could maybe sit there and conduct enforcement on this issue. We are residents in the neighborhood and often walk with children and pets as well and have almost been driven into by reckless drivers. We really hope that notating this concern will be addressed in the residence in this facility whether it be Attleboro or North Attleboro will remain safe. It has gotten into a point where here we are asking for assistance as the stop sign is essentially invisible to drivers who are just either texting speeding or rushing through to avoid route one traffic, and we hope that there can be something done to better enforce this.y
  • 57 13th Street Attleboro, MA, 02703, USA - Attleboro
We need a speed limit sign installed on the street - with no stop sign at the intersection of Tondreau and 13th car go way too fast both ways on 13th - I know they are going over 40mph and tons of kids play in this area.
  • 95 Mechanic Street Unit #14, Attleboro, Massachusetts - Attleboro
The street light shines directly into our bedroom and living room windows. It also lights up the whole back yard, including our deck. Could a shield be put on the light so it is not directly hitting our windows or back yard. We feel like we are on display in our own house. Thank You
  • 55 Steeple Chase Circle Attleboro, Massachusetts, 02703 - Attleboro

    Hi,
I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to express the concerns of residents of Steeple Chase Circle regarding the lack of adequate street lighting in our community. We, the undersigned, believe that installing streetlights in strategic locations within our neighborhood is crucial for the safety and well-being of our residents.

Steeple Chase Circle has been experiencing a noticeable deficiency in proper lighting during nighttime. This issue poses a potential threat to public safety, as poorly lit streets can contribute to accidents, increase the risk of crime, and create an overall sense of insecurity among residents. Additionally, well-lit streets are known to enhance the overall aesthetics of a neighborhood, promoting community pride and engagement.
    Thanks
