    Unhoused person has been living under 21st Street bridge and harassing residents and vandalizing private buildings in area and leaving an unsanitary amount of garbage and other belongings around private property. There have been several encampments underneath the bridge recently, but this is the first time somebody has damaged the private property or directly harassed any residents. Request a cleanup of encampment under bridge, and contact team to help re-locate unhoused person(s).

    Hello,
    I am requesting a follow-up on the homeless encampment that is Still located on our property. The previous request for some reason has been closed, (16285374). Again, please remove the individual from our property and then email or call me so I can remove any debris that is left behind. Previously, the city has had several employees go to verify that there is an issue here, (3.26.24-NCS AJones, 3.27.24 NCS Jcarlisle, 4.3.24 NCS CMargeson) then this case was closed by IT Integration handler. Unfortunately, I did not receive a single phone call or email notifying me that anything was done. There is still an encampment on this site. Please have it or the person removed and please notify me afterwards.

    The below information that I found on my case does not really help if I am not contacted and the person or persons are still on the property.
    "The City will continue re-inspections and other enforcement action until the case is closed. If the property owner does not bring the property into compliance per the Tacoma Municipal Code, the City may take legal action and correct the code violation(s) at the owner’s expense. You will continue to be notified about the status of this case until it has been closed. "
