City Council District 7.

Notified About

  • 701-737 Eubank Blvd Ne Albuquerque, NM, 87123, USA - Albuquerque
This is ridiculous!!! We the hard working taxpayers are continuously having to pay for this cleanup. Homeless camp just removed is now back with 6 shelters and another pile of trash!!! I live very close to this area and am tired of seeing these people trash this park and then just be removed for a day or two and allowed to come back with no consequences. There is help for them out there and shelters to go to. However if you’re a junkie they aren’t accepted and end up here at Los Altos doing whatever they please! Mayor Keller and City Council please step in and do something here!

Lets see, it will take another 2 weeks for the vagrants to be formally notified again (every month) that they are not allowed to camp in the park (Keller Kampground). They'll get their monthly visit, slips of paper and maid service where the park will be cleaned up while they go to the other side of the fence and watch the workers laughing. Then when cleaned up they'll all migrate back within 2 days max while laughing at the public because they refuse to use the other services provided by the public and the politicians are foolish enough to think their methodology works. Some people will blame the ACLU (misdirection/redirection), some will weep over the supposed homeless there (this is their conscious choice to live this way and not use provided services), some will give them assistance thereby enabling them to continue their lifestyle, and others will blame those who oppose the vagrants in the park using all manner of misdirection and deflection. Bottom line is we have rules/laws governing camping in parks that are not being followed and with the silence from the politicians one can only assume they condone this behavior.

Park was just cleaned up and vagrants moved out on Thursday 3/24, so they migrated to the S side of the park fence. As of 3/26 10:00am at least 7 tents/camps are back INSIDE the park. As expected the city failed us again by not permanently moving the vagrants out so once again taxpayers are on the hook for the costs. Great job Keller and city Council.

This is out of control, when is the city going to do something about the ILLEGAL camping here on a permanent basis? There are at least 15 tents set up on both sides of the fence by the dog park area right now. Is this what our city leadership has come to?

How do we clean up the park if Joy Junction comes to the park with a food truck and feeding the illegal campers (homeless)? I would think not bringing food to them and encouraging to not go to the shelters for food, help, etc.

This dubious "yard art" is deeply offensive and completely unnecessary. It is also a traffic hazard since I almost rear-ended someone after it caught my eye. It also appears to suggest Mrs.Clinton is either being hanged or is hanging someone. The whole yard comes off as threatening and I am requesting the homeowner take it all down.

Well, as expected that was short lived, tents in the park. They are back again, 4, maybe 5 as of 11:15am, 2/28/2022. These are INSIDE the park, next to the dog park, N of the fence. So I suspect it'll take 2 weeks+ to notify the vagrants of what they already know as they are moved out monthly. Then 72 hrs more for them to move, then the 2 day cleanup taxpayers pay for, they'll watch from the sidelines, then they'll be back again the next day and the cycle starts over again... LETS GO KELLER!!! :)

FWIW, they're camping under the I-40 walkover bridge again and are also in the small triangle of land between the skate park and the Lomas overpass, and of course all over Wyoming & I-40 too.

This disgusting woman and her 6 stolen carts is back at the memorial park, she just won't leave and has been around the area consistently.

REMOVE HER AND HER TRASH IMMEDIATELY.

I am so sick of seeing these disgusting people ruin our neighborhood. I truly wish they would overdose or something.

Also remove her friends on the I40 entrance, they have a hidden tent, 4carts with SO MUCH TRASH being littered. I saw the person using the bathroom on the sidewalk in full view of traffic.

You wouldn't see this in Denver or anywhere else decent- why won't nothing be done?!?

Homeless tents lining the park fence near the interstate Homeless leave trash needles and harass dog park users
Homeless walk the shoulder of I-40 to get to tents which puts drivers in danger Clean this up and ship these homeless out of here If they don't want housing then make them live out of the city so people can use their city parks

Ok, enough with the growing tent city. The large group needs to be removed and a large fence put up to prevent them from
returning. It's not like citizens can use that area of the park anyway, there is so many tents, trash, and needles. What happened to the park closes at dark and no camping laws?
