Notified About

  • Lucas Avenue Kingston, NY 12401 - Kingston
Took my 2 yr. old grandson to Kingston Kinderland yesterday and saw that the playground is barely maintained. Swings are gone except for the baby bucket type. Chains are exposed. Sandbox is sparse and trash strewn.
Paint is peeling. Wood is fractured/splintery.
My daughter's pants were ripped by a wood sliver sliding down the main slide with my grandson. ***Most dangerous situation: A moving bridge on chains heading to the spiral slide has collapsed. Children and adults could get hurt there. I almost fell myself. The bathroom reeks of alcohol. A picnic table appears to be lopsided. Kingston Kinderland needs the community spirit again, 15 years later--this time to fix the playground.

Rental house on end of Boulder Ave..very nice quiet and well kept neighborhood, except for this unruly, inconsiderate and otherwise menace to society.Traffic in and out all night, yelling and cursing in the street ,suspecting some aspect of drugs. The list goes on slum lord, unkept property, junk cars andparts allways confrontation with neighbors.Just tired of dealing with TRASH!!!!!!!!!!
  • Lucas Ave & Millers Lane Kingston Ny - Kingston

  • 152 Main St Kingston, NY 12401, USA - Kingston
Lafayette Avenue should be made a one-way street with no access from Main Street. In the mornings, Lafayette Avenue is like the Grand Central Parkway with traffic turning onto Lafayette to avoid the light at Washington Avenue.
  • 47 Lafayette Ave Kingston, NY 12401, USA - Kingston
OH PLEASE GO BACK TO ONE SIDE OF THE STREET PARKING ON LAFAYETTE AVE. IT IS DIFFICULT TO PROPERLY GET TRU WHEN BOTH SIDES ARE PARKED ON.
  • 125 Lucas Ave Kingston, NY 12401, USA - Kingston

Forsyth Park Playground has become delapidated - children are getting splinters from the rough wood, the swings and sliding toys have been taken away from abuse by older children, the tires from the toy boat/car have broken off and have not been replaced, grafiti needs to be addressed, in need of new wood chips.

In addition it would be nice if parks a rec would maintain the park regularly so that it does not get this bad in the future.

  • 18 Millers Ln Kingston, NY 12401, USA - Kingston
The traffic light at Millers Lane/Lucas serves no purpose. The "No turn on Red" sign is hidden by the trees and it is ignored anyway by Millers Lane traffic. 9 out of 10 times I will sit on Lucas at the red light that is triggered by Millers Lane traffic and there is no one exiting Miller's Lane. They have already turned right on red. The red light in the Winter causes major problems with Lucas traffic having to stop on the hill. I don't know whose dept. is responsible for this, but please check it out.
  • 67 Lucas Avenue Kingston - Kingston
The intersection of Lucas Avenue, Joys Lane, and Lafayette is dangerous for cars, pedestrians, and bicyclists. In my 15 years living near this intersection, I have witnessed 1 bicyclist hit by a car, 2 pedestrians hit by vehicles, 3 car crashes, and one death (RIP). To divert traffic, Joys Lane should be made one way from Dietz Stadium to Lucas Avenue. To assist pedestrians, there should be a traffic light timed with Washington Avenue's traffic light and it should have a crossing signal similar to the one at Lucas Avenue and Millers Lane. Children walking to Bailey and Edson take their lives into their own hands- and that is a lot to ask of pre-teen children. They are no match for cars and unsafe drivers who berate you when trying to cross in the crosswalk at the stop sign! This issue has been brought to the city council's attention by former aldermen and a signed petition of over 60 signatures. You would think a death would inspire someone to do something, but I guess it was not a politician's relative or friend.
  • 113-199 Fairview Ave Kingston, NY 12401, USA - Kingston
Drivers speed through Fairview to cut through the neighborhood. You can't walk down the street without someone speeding on this road that because if the hills and curves has limited visibility. Have cops patrol or put up speed limit signs big enough for drivers to see.
  • Snyder Ave Kingston, NY - Kingston
Children playing and dog walking. Everyday there are people drivings extremely fast. There pretty much is no side walks. I really wish a cop would park on apple street and nab them all.
