Notified About

  • 501 Devereux Street Raleigh, NC - Glenwood-Brooklyn
Unsightly Graffeti on sides of buildings along the RR tracks across from the dead end of Devereux Street from Glenwood (park at 501 Devereux). Please, please remove.
  • 909-1099 Glenwood Avenue Raleigh, NC 27605, USA - Glenwood-Brooklyn
The bushes in the median at the corner of Glenwood and Cleveland Street on the north side seem to have been allowed to grow much wider and closer to the end of the median then in other places. When pulling out from Cleveland to turn left on Glenwood the site distance is very limited.
  • 506 Cleveland Street Raleigh, North Carolina - Glenwood-Brooklyn
There is a huge piece of land between Washington Street and Cleveland Street that has been overtaken by kudzu. I do not know who owns this property. We are having major problems with it growing on our bushes and trees. Is this property owned by the city of Raleigh? It used to be mowed and maintained but has not been taken care of this summer.
  • Speeding Archived
    1200 Glenwood Ave Raleigh/ Wake, NC - Glenwood-Brooklyn
Vehicles are speeding in the area of Glenwood Ave and Bishop Park from 7am -9am.
  • Glenwood Ave At Cole St Raleigh, North Carolina - Glenwood-Brooklyn
It's been a while since a car drove through this fence on Glenwood Avenue. Beyond the fence and down the hill are glass remnants of the wreck. The broken fence is dangerous (children and animals could wander down there) and unsightly.
  • 1300 Glenwood Av Raleigh, North Carolina - Glenwood-Brooklyn

This corner rental is in the middle of the townhouse contsruction going on next door on Glenwood. The developer owns this house too. Since construction began, the house landscaping has been neglected and is impacting sidewalk use now, as well as jeopardizing the health of some really old crape myrtles.

-- The crape myrtles desperately need some proper pruning, one of them has large split branches hanging into the street. These trees are a neighborhood asset, don't know if the city or the owner is responsible for their care, but these two need some TLC ASAP!

-- Wall o' Shrubs need to be severely pruned back from the sidewalk, and height wise also.

-- Ivy needs cutting back and grass needs mowing on parking strip.

-- Construction vehicles are making a mud pit cutting the corner going into the alley.

The developer should know better, you aren't going to attract buyers if you let the yard go like this... and in the meantime, the neighborhood has to live with it. Please have a look at this, thank you.

  • 1316 Glenwood Avenue Raleigh, North Carolina - Glenwood-Brooklyn
Dangerous intersection at Cole/Wade Ave ramp and Glenwood outbound. As you sit at the light on Cole St., if you want to make a right turn onto Glenwood outbound, you can hardly see due to all of the vegetation on Glenwood & Cole, along the sidewalk and corner. And, the cars coming along Glenwood are all doing 50 mph. Can it be trimmed back?
  • 1220 Glenwood Ave Raleigh, NC 27605, USA - Glenwood-Brooklyn
House on corner looks abandoned, with large shrubs that impede the view for drivers turning from northbound Glenwood Av onto Jefferson St. Afraid of running into cars coming the other way on Jefferson who may not be in the center of road, because you can't see until all the way onto Jefferson. The house is overgrown and an example of demolition-by-neglect.
  • Glenwood Ave Raleigh, NC, 27605, USA - Glenwood-Brooklyn
Please resume enforcement of parking restrictions in the Glenwood-Brooklyn neighborhood, particularly those streets nearest Peace Street. Patrons of the Glenwood South bars and the Sahara are parking in front of our homes, bass blaring, lights flashing. They have fights, break items, and wake our children at night.
  • 611 Washington St Raleigh 27605, United States - Glenwood-Brooklyn
600 block of Washington St needs some attention. Street is littered with leaves and sticks on both sides from Glenwood to the train tracks. Starting to look more abandon than historic.
  • 906 Glenwood Avenue Raleigh, North Carolina - Glenwood-Brooklyn
Bushes obstruct driver's vision when turning left onto Wills Forest St after traveling north on Glenwood.
  • 810 Glenwood Avenue Raleigh, NC 27605, USA - Glenwood-Brooklyn
Shrubbery in median has overgrown making visibility very limited when turning left from Glenwood on to Tilden Street
