If you have not been down Hunter Creek Dr. lately I would strongly encourage you to do so. 1502 Hunter Creek has recently decided to let their Michigan game colors shine, by painting their fence navy blue and their garage door yellow. The paint appears to be cheaply done and looks tacky. There are homes on the street that will not sell as people see this yellow tacky garage when they enter the street. This is an eyesore!! the paint on the fence and garage do not match the home or any other homes in the area and does affect the asthetics. Also, we are not allowed to leave cars/boats/trailers in our driveways, but they have left pallets with rocks in their driveway for over four months. This really affects the look of the street.

Our house is across the alley from this property. We moved in last year and there has never been anyone living at this property. Someone comes and mows the grass every few months, but not before it gets to be knee high and full of weeds. Half of the back fence fell into the alley around Christmas. My husband and I had to pick up the whole panel and put it in the yard so people could drive down the alley. I picked up a nail in one of my back tires this morning from the fence and ended up having to get a brand new tire. When I got back from having the tire issue fixed, I walked down the alley and picked up three more nails along the fence line. I don't want to have to check the alley every time I want to back my car out of the garage and I can't afford to keep replacing tires.

    1502 Hunter Creek Drive

The above mentioned property has recently undergone some changes that I feel are undesirable to the look of our neighborhood and street. First, the homeowners painted their garage a shade of yellow that does not match the house or any other houses/garages on the street or in the neighborhood. Second, they pained the front section of their wooden privacy fence a strange shade of navy blue. Again, this color of paint does not match any other home on the street/neighborhood and it is in no way a natural color of wood. I feel like these recent changes are unsightly and should be restored to the original condition/colors. Additionally, the landscaping they have created at this property is very unattractive and does not follow the rules and regulations for the HOA. The DECLARATION OF COVENANTS, CONDITIONS
AND RESTRICTIONS state that the front yards inside the SPHOA shall have a fully sodded front lawn" and "all yards of a dwelling shall be maintained so
as to be an aesthetic asset to the dwelling." Furthermore, the document states "no weeds or grass shall be permitted upon any Lot in excess of
eight (8) inches in height." The large bushes, sizable "decorative rocks", and wooden pallets that are in the front yard not only make the property look unattractive, I fear it could eventually hurt property values on this street. I believe everyone on this street works hard to keep their homes and yards in excellent condition. As I drive past this home each day, I notice that it is the only home with different garage and fence colors and landscaping. I appreciate your help in resolving these matters. Thank you.

A travel trailer has been parked near this location for several weeks or longer. There is sometimes a SUV parked in front of it but not attached to trailer. Trailer is unattached and sitting on wooden blocks. Not sure if this is allowed but seems unsafe.
