For several months now, the separated bike lane on Cambridge Street on the westbound side have been missing. This creates a huge gap in separation according to original design. In the section between Maple Street and Fayette Street, there are no flexposts. As a result, cars park in the buffer zone, creating a door-zone hazard. Please install the new flexposts as soon as possible.

Overgrown shrub with thorns has taken over most of the width of the sidewalk. Two pedestrians can no longer safely pass at this point. Address is 85 Walden Street at intersection with Hubbard Ave.

The concrete pavement at the bottom of the Yerxa Road Underpass has deteriorated, leaving a rough, uneven surface with several holes. In addition to that there is a drainage problem that leaves puddles after a rain and a wet surface for a day or two later. Please repair the pavement and drainage.

There are several flexposts missing from the separated bike lane on Mt Auburn Street near the intersection at JFK Street. In some cases, the flexposts appear to have been run over by motor vehicles. Instead of replace the old flexposts, please consider installing precast concrete curbs. Areas where motor vehicles are routinely running over flexposts, which should provide separation for cyclists, are clear indicators that more durable separation elements are needed.

At Brattle Square, the separated bike lane is missing several flex posts. This results in cars parking in the bike lane! Please replace the missing flexposts to provide the separation required by the project. Please also consider adding precast concrete curbs to this section in addition to or in lieu of flexposts.

As a pedestrian at the intersection of Huron Ave and Fresh Pond Parkway, when crossing Huron Ave from the northeast corner of the intersection to the southeast corner, the pedestrian signal is very difficult to see from the crosswalk. The signal head is pointing approximately 45 degrees too far to the left. It would be clearly visible if the signal head were aligned such that it is parallel to Fresh Pond Parkway.

Please install a bike rack near Thistle & Shamrock at 62 Walden Street. There is need of bike parking but no racks in this area. I have spoken to one of the owners and confirmed that they would indeed like to have bike racks installed.

Delivery truck parked in the bike lane, causing cyclists to merge into fast moving traffic. This is a common occurrence at this location.
