There are no trash cans or dog poop disposal areas on the mine Creek trail from Shelly Lake until the closed portion of the Crabtree Creek trail. Often times you see dog poop bags left on the concrete sewer structures as responsible owners that pick up their dogs poop don't want to also carry it for miles. Would it be possible to have trash cans or dog waste disposal areas installed at points along the Mine Creek Greenway? Thanks.

Posted this 3 weeks ago, and this problem still remains. Homeless and their trash under the I-40 bridge at S. Saunders. Unsightly especially for a main thoroughfare into downtown.

There is a homeless camp developing under the I-40 bridge. Unsanitary and unsightly for a main thoroughfare for Raleigh.

There is a new homeless camp in the trashed area ignored by the City of Raleigh. There are mattresses, blankets, pillows, multiple empty King Cobra bottles. The owner of this property needs to be fined and held accountable for what is taking place on their land.
This trashed area was most recently reported over 3 weeks ago and acknowledged by the city 20 days ago. This is not the first time this issue has been brought to the city's attention. As of today there have been no updates regarding this area.
This issue is a danger to all the residents living in Renaissance Park, and should have been addressed the first time it was reported. If you let an area remain trashed eventually homeless people will move in, since the area looks ignored. It is only a matter of time until a crime is committed as a result of this. Please take action now.

Clarification on garbage. I think the concern with the illegal dumping is that people are throwing their trash and trash bags in the lot and beside the dumpster not even in the dumpster. Is it not a violation to have trash bags laying all over the place even if these are private dumpsters? Also the trash that is thrown haphazardly by these dumpsters ends up in the roads and nearby woods thus becoming a city problem.
