anyone able to confirm N. bound service drive traffic(I-75 11 mile exit) will be permitted to turn Left onto West bound Lincoln? word from the I-75 modern project manager,Mr. Nachman,says this will happen.another Mohawk exit debacle in the making if it is allowed.what have residents heard?

sidewalk is blocked by thick brush s. bound service drive under e.b. I-696.there is also hazardous plants on the embankment.totally neglected.

since nearly all the tree plantings in the S. end are unsuccessful I sent an email to r.o..per email response below property owners were asked to water them.well how can an apartment dweller water 5 trees on ten mile? 4 are long gone,left standing.I watched the landscapers literally run from planting 1 to another-hastily to say the least.is this the "canopy" the mayor so boisterously spoke about months ago?remember this neglect Nov.7.quote; "Per the Planning Department, which was in charge of contracting for the tree plantings in the south end of the city, residents that had a tree planted were notified that they would need to water the trees on a regular basis. It is natural for the trees to be stressed because of being planted, and the hotter than normal weather is probably affecting them also. Most anyday but I have seen Sundays to be the worst day drivers for what ever reason refuse to obey the stop sign.many don't even slow down or brake.it can be a bit un-nerving to be stopped & have a vehicle zoom past at 40mph then cut to the left w/out a signal to enter W. bound I-696.I have contacted local law enforcement whom were appreciative of the heads up but appoligized for lack of man power to do any thing.maybe more complaints to the chief are in order to avoid any innocent lives to be put in jeopardy.

If you are a bicyclist in Royal Oak you may have expierenced a tire puncture this year or if your lucky just ridden over a pile of glass left by Rizzo recyclers.I thought this city was to be bicycle friendly? after repeated calls to the DPS to inform them of the conditions I have yet to see anything being done to remove any glass from the roadway.anyone seen a streets sweeper in their neighborhood??? and what happened to the SHARROW program? lots of reelection gab & zero action!!!
