this is proof Royal Oak is NOT pedestrian friendly as some of those suggest.since november of 2013 the construction co. on the N. side of 11 mile at Dorchester bulldozed a 20 foot section of sidewalk leaving a 2 foot drop so their large trucks could make entry easier. No signs suggesting to use another another route or at the least be prepared at night for the hazard.this is an accident waiting to happen.code enforcement was advised in December-April 2014 & still the same.greedy construction co. with no compassion for public safety.same goes for city hall asleep at the desk.
