Large hackberry tree in the alley between McCullough and OShaughnessy has a dead limb in need of removal. The base of the tree is rotting as well. Please ask the city arborist to evaluate the tree. Thank you!

Series of several large potholes in the Southbound lanes of Gallatin St. In front of Huntsville Hospital visitors garage.

The city tree service took down several large limbs from a tree in the alley but garbage collection didn’t pick them up. If the garbage truck can’t pick up the limbs please send the tree service back out to complete the cleanup.

Several large limbs fell from this large hackberry tree in the most recent storm. The tree is located in the alley between 800 O’Shaughnessy Ave. and 801 McCullough Ave. There are several more large limbs/trunk lines that are dead and are ready to fall down potentially damaging the properties on either side of the alley. Please send someone to evaluate the tree and take down the deadfall. Thanks for your help!

The new street lights are incredibly bright and shine directly into my children’s bedrooms. Is it possible to place a shade or diverter onto the fixture so the light illuminates the street but doesn’t flood my kids bedrooms with light while they’re trying to sleep? Thanks for the help.

Neither garbage nor recycling has been picked up at 800 O’Shaughnessy Ave.

Can the city come through the Five Points neighborhood and spray for mosquitoes? They are out of control! My family tried to enjoy some ice cream outside this evening and in the space of time it took to finish our cones we were absolutely covered in bites—my wife counted over 40 welts on her legs!

The light at Pratt and Russell no longer triggers from the sensor. It’s only changing on the backup timer causing long backups on either side of Russell with no traffic on Pratt.

The city came out back in August to clear out the storm drains. They uncovered a clogged up drain, but just left it as a huge hole with an orange cone! The hole is 2 1/2’ wide and 18” deep. Any plans on what to do with this?

Several transformers blew and the neighborhood is without power.

The traffic lights at either end of Rutledge Dr. (at the intersections of Sparkman and Jordan) do not respond for motorcycles. I would be happy to donate my time and motorcycle to provide a calibration point for the sensors. Thanks!

Once again a couple nights of heavy rain have lifted all the various patches laid down over the large potholes that litter Oakwood Ave. The road surface is a hazard to navigate- please let us know when we can expect a full resurfacing to take place!

When is the city going to repave Oakwood Ave?? It is an embarrassment to the city that it has been neglected for so long. There are patches over patches--some 3-4 deep! It is beyond being merely an inconvenience, and is actively dangerous to navigate around.

When this issue was raised last, the city promised that work would begin, "next month (July) as soon as the storm drains are clear." That work has yet to begin. When can we expect to see some progress?
