The edge of the asphalt of Brier Creek Parkway is degrading where it meets the asphalt of Cerny St. It's degrading 6-8 inch deep for several feet, in several places.
This not only causes several abrupt bumps when driving, but it also appears to promote washing out the highway's foundation.

Large areas (tens of square feet) of asphalt have become delaminated through multiple layers.

This deterioration is accelerating through the adjoining asphalt, generating a very large pothole and a substantial amount of debris that is a risk to bicyclers and to cars that swerve to miss. The area effected is wider than the entire travel lane.(causing a safety hazard as cars dodge into the oncoming lane to miss the hole).
