45 Goddard Rd Brockton, MA, 02301, USA - Ward 4Two wires have been hanging down from pole #5, between 40 and 46 Hemlock Ave.. We finally coiled them up so they're not all over the street, but they are hanging from the pole and we feel they are a hazard. Probably cable or phone lines, but we have no idea, and no neighbors have service issues.

Water/Sewer ArchivedHemlock Ave. Brockton, Plymouth, Massachusetts - Ward 4On the east end of Hemlock Avenue, 100 ft. into the woods at the end of the street, there is a sewer cover that is OVERFLOWING badly. The sewer cover is hard to see, because it is surrounded by vegetation. It emits a foul odor that is worst in the evening, or whenever the wind is coming from that direction.

Other Archived33 George St. Brockton, Massachusetts - Ward 5This address is uncertain, as there is only one '3' on the front of the house, which is just to the north of #39. Behind this house, with the overgrown back yard, is an above-ground pool, in which STAGNANT water is sitting. This is a severe MOSQUITO HAZARD. Standing stagnant water is a violation of an ordinance, which I specified the last time I reported this, about a month ago. The pool should be drained, or maintained. PLEASE do something. There are lots of children around this neighborhood, and I worry about them being bitten by mosquitoes which carry disease!

Traffic/Parking Issue Archived12-20 Hemlock Street Brockton, Massachusetts - Ward 4A large (8" diameter) tree branch, about 20 ft. long, fell from the tree between 12 and 20 Hemlock St. It is now on the street, with lots of debris all over the street, and only allows one lane of traffic to pass. This tree was previously reported by me as being a hazard, but the response was that the tree is on private property and is the property owner's responsibility. The owner is obviously not taking responsibility.
