I recently moved into a patio home in Pebble Creek. The sidewalk between my patio home at 4922 and my sister’s at 4920 has a large crack that with recent rains has begun to separate and lift up. Both my sister and I are disabled. We use walkers to walk from one home to the other, sometimes late at night. I’m afraid the wheels of the walkers are going to get caught in the cracks. Did I mention that our eyesight isn’t what it used to be? Thank you so much!

The curb in front of my house and next to my mailbox is cracking. I am disabled and accessing my mailbox is treacherous with the curb as it is.
  • 4850 Greens Prairie Trail College Station, Texas - Brazos County
Due to the detour (for the next three months) on Greens Prairie Road, for the last two mornings, I have taken Wellborn Road from South Dowling south to Greens Prairie Trail (GPT) on my morning commute. Almost immediately upon turning east from Wellborn, GPT is backed up in the eastbound single lane. Traffic moves slowly with many of the vehicles (construction and parents) turning south at GPT Elementary School . Both mornings, I observed a vehicle, too impatient to wait, pull out , cross a solid line into oncoming traffic, by-pass the waiting vehicles, and pull back into the lane just as the street becomes two lanes. Yesterday when I observed this, there were two oncoming westbound vehicles that had to pull over on the shoulder and partially in the bar ditch to make room for the vehicle coming toward them in the wrong lane. The wait time for the rest of us, is not that long. The traffic moves at a decent pace, slow, but you're moving. This morning, I noticed a motorcycle patrolman monitoring the other end of the school zone where children are crossing. I don't believe he is able to see what is happening at the other end of GPT. I will be coming this way for the next three months since I would rather not drive through the neighborhood along the official detour route. I am afraid that if these vehicles continue to pass illegally (in a school zone, wrong side of the road, no passing zone) that there is going to be a terrible accident and the rest of us who are abiding by the law will be hit. I managed to get the license plate number of the vehicle this morning: FHP 2232. It is a white slightly older model construction truck with 2-3 men in the cab.

The "Dead End" sign on Technology Way near the TEEX building needs to be updated to read "No Outlet". I saw the city trucks adding some street signage in this area the other day and thought they might have this on their list, too.

Making a right turn from 2818 onto Nueces is a hazard because so many folks cross the solid white line and use the bike lane for a turn lane. It is dangerous to make a legal turn when folks drive up beside you to make the same right turn. Can there be a sign placed that tells folks not to turn from the bike lane?

Not only do I work at the end of a dead end street, I live at the end of a dead end street. Life would be sweeter if this sign could be updated to the more appropriate "No Access".

It would certainly make a lot of TEEX folks feel better to know they worked at the end of a "No Outlet" street instead of a "Dead End". We feel that TEEX is certainly not a dead end. In fact, they hired me!
