Large potholes Archived150 Walnut St Malden, Massachusetts - Malden Ward 1There is a group of large potholes on Walnut street towards the Belmont st end. Large chunks of asphalt have come loose, causing damage when passing by. Pothole span most of the street to very hard to avoid. Chunks of loose asphalt are big enough to scrape against the bottom of my SUV.

Early morning motorcyclist issue Archived146-150 Belmont Street Malden, Massachusetts - Malden Ward 1Every morning between 5:30-7:30 am a motorcycle speeds down Belmont street waking my entire household up each time. This motorcycle is beyond loud and goes WELL above the speed limit. My family and I have lived here for 3 years and have experienced a growing lack of regard for the speed limit on this street. Multiple accidents from cars speeding trying to dodge parked cars, loud speeding motorcycles and sports cars. It has gotten out of hand being a straightaway and motorists thinking it's the Autobahn. What can be done - lighted speed limit signs? Police presence (at least temporarily during early morning and peak hours)? SPEED BUMPS? Something needs to give for the safety of this neighborhood.

Traffic & Parking - Illegal Parking ArchivedMain And Cross St Malden, Massachusetts - Malden Ward 1This car parks here very often, at least a few times a week in a spot clearly marked No Parking. This car has now been here two straight days. Parking here causes a huge traffic issue especially for the morning commute and is very ignorant for the driver to keep parking in that spot illegally. Super frustrating especially seeing that this car is never ticketed.

84 Fellsway East Malden, Massachusetts - Malden Ward 3This is located on the small road that goes from Pleasant street up to Murray Hill Road, I believe it is technically Fellsway East. It ends at the Immaculate Conception Church. There is a very old, faded sign letting drivers know this is a two-way street, although it looks like a one-way street. The other day I faced an incident where, while stopped at the red light, a car behind me went around me onto the other side of the narrow road (possibly believing it was a one-way street? who knows) causing a traffic jam. This sign needs to be replaced to avoid these incidents in the future.

Winter And Glenwood Street malden, Massachusetts - Malden Ward 3When driving on Washington Street past Oak Grove on your left, if you want to continue onto Washington Street it is very unclear which lane you need to be in. There are no marked lanes, most people take either a Left onto Winter Street or a Right onto Glenwood Street. However if you want to continue straight onto Washington, you're either pushed over from the left or right side from people in the other lane also continuing on Washington street. Would it be feasible to put "Left-Only" and "Right or Straight Only" lane markings or similar? Just something to correctly direct traffic to avoid sideswipes. See photo for reference, something similar to this??

Walnut And Cross St Malden Ma - Malden Ward 1The intersection at the corner of Cross and Walnut St next to school, traffic lights are blinking. Lights on Walnut st are blinking yellow, lights on Cross st are blinking red. However, I had to STOP at the yellow light because an MBTA bus blew through the red light on Cross st. This is going to be a NIGHTMARE for school traffic if it isn't fixed soon.

Snow blocking traffic lanes Archived10 Revere Beach Pkwy Medford, Massachusetts - MedfordAre we just going to wait for the snow to melt to be able to use all the lanes? Snow hasn't been completely plowed from all lanes of traffic heading both ways through Wellington Circle. This has been causing traffic backups on top of already horrendous traffic conditions. Please remove snow from ALL lanes of traffic!

need large driveway plowed Archived150 Belmont Street Malden, MA 02148, USA - Malden Ward 1
Not sure if this is a shoveling-only site, but we need our large driveway (about 3 car length by 2 cars wide) plowed. We can't handle shoveling after this last storm, it's just too much for us. Need a plow asap.
Thank you!#snowcrew

130-170 Belmont St Malden, Massachusetts - Malden Ward 1The last storm, the Everett side of Belmont street plowed the sidewalks at around 2am waking up the entire household (that is besides the point). I heard from a family member who used to live on Arlington street that Malden and Everett "take turns" plowing the snow on either side of the street. Is this a plan for Malden? I see signs again today letting the Everett side know that they will be plowing this evening.
Also, when Everett did plow on their side they pushed a lot of snow onto the Malden side, blocking driveways and making snow mounds even bigger. It would be nice to be able to get out of our driveways safely without the snow mounds completely blocking our views!
I understand it is a work in progress with the amount of snow we received, but it seems something should be done on this street. -
146 Belmont St Malden, Massachusetts - Malden Ward 1When will trash be picked up this week? Last week they never came to collect trash or recycling, at least on Belmont st. Can't find any info on other Malden websites. Thank you!

Pleasant And Main Malden, Massachusetts - Malden Ward 4
I apologize if there is already an open incident for this, I couldn't find one.
This issue has been ongoing for years. Heading towards Malden high, Citizens Bank is on your right. There is a Left Turn Only lane turning left onto Pleasant Street. Continue straight on Main Street through the intersection, there is then another Left Turn Only lane turning left onto Main Street. People treat this as one long Left Only lane. I've noticed at least 70% of drivers just go straight on the Left Only lane at Pleasant Street, to turn left onto Main Street. This makes it difficult for the drivers (like myself this morning) who abide by the law, and stay in the right lane until we reach the Left Only lane at Main Street. I then face the fantastic drivers who drive straight and don't let us, law-abiding drivers, into the lane. Here's a couple of quick ideas: (1) Install a "Left Turn on Green Arrow Only" sign and signal at Pleasant Street. (2) Remove the Left Only lane marking at Pleasant Street. Doesn't seem to mean anything to drivers anyways.
I'd appreciate anything that can be done about this, and thank you for your time.
Rant over. :-)P.S.- I apologize for the crude drawing-- I'm no artist. I hope it makes things clear.

Re-paint lane markings Archived69 Fellsway West medford, Massachusetts - MedfordPlease fix lane markings next to Sunoco on the Fellsway. After the street was re-paved and lines painted, the lines are not straight. If you're driving in the left-hand lane, the lines force you into the Left Only lane, and people from the far right lane are forced into the left lane. This is a very difficult situation, as I personally drive by here daily I've had to avoid being side-swiped by cars coming into my lane. I've circled where the lines need to be re-painted in the photo. It is only a short section of one or two lines, but it is making for a very dangerous part of the road to drive on.
